Goals for April 5-11th, 2010
Goals Review for March 28th – April 4th 2010
- Starting Weight = 226.8. End Weight = 225
- 50 push-ups each morning and night. 100 sit ups at night.
- Buy a ankle brace and/or tape for my ankle
- Look at golf-clubs for Melody & purchase if can afford it
- Get response from buyers for tech equipment, sell some, post the rest to craigslist
- Melody will apply for BB&T Balance Transfer card
I haven’t weighed myself this weekend, as we were out of town. I will weigh in tomorrow morning, and then update the blog. The pushups thing was hit and miss this week. Some nights i was on task, others, it just slipped my mind. Gotta be better at remembering this stuff.
I looked at ankle braces, but couldn’t find any that were both thin enough to wear with a soccer boot, but strong enough to provide adequate support. I dont know what i’ll do next week, but more than likely i may get Melody to tape me, and see how that goes.
I did buy Melody a set of golf clubs…next time we go out, i’ll take a picture. She’s almost as happy about getting dressed up like a golfer, as she is about playing the game. I did not get any responses from buyers for the equipment i have to sell, so this week i’ll be expanding the communications to more people who might be interested.
We will not be solidifying any debt onto a single credit card. We simply have too much, and our debt to credit limit ratio is not in our favor. So we’ll keep plugging away, and hopefully i can pull in some web jobs or something to help bring this debt down a little more quickly than just chipping away at it each month.
Goals Review for March 2010
- Lose 7-8 pounds and keep it off. End weight = 222 pounds
- 50 push-ups each morning & night. 100 sit ups at night
- 2.5 mile (minimum) run on 4 days every week (10 miles per week minimum)
- Have all spare computers inventoried and ready for sale (and sell some if possible)
- Have all, or as much as possible debt consolidated onto a balance transferred card, so we’re paying lower interest/lower monthly payments starting in April. (looking doubtful)
March was pretty much a big ball of fail. Nuff said about that.

- 2.5 mile (minimum) run on 3 days every week
- Post equipment to Craigslist, and let colleagues know at NCSU about the list of equipment i have
I will be in California at Google for the first 3 days of this week, so that will impact a little of my time, but i hope to make it up when i get back (flying back on a red-eye, arriving wednesday morning).

- Be actively attempting to get some freelance web jobs
