Needed a day to just lay around and do nothing….and that’s what we did today. There were a couple of FA Cup matches on to watch, and then Melody and I watched “She’s Out of My League.” The only memorable thing that happened today though, was that it was the last injection for the IVF  [ Read More ]

Melody and I went to see “I am Number Four” today, which was actually a fairly good movie. It had its cheezy moments, as any PG-13 movie would, but overall I was quite satisfied with paying to see it on the big screen. Afterwards, Melody and I went to Sushi Blues for dinner. After having  [ Read More ]

This morning Melody left for a conference (which lasts until Tuesday). I had high hopes for the weekend. My plan was to do some cleaning, some web development, and possibly make a start on cleaning up our spare room which still (yes, still) has thing boxed up from our move over 2 years ago. Today was a good day. If you’d like to know why, head on over to Melody and my SpawnWatch blog…here in particular: http://www.spawnwatch.com/2011/02/05/395-what-a-glorious-number/ — This afternoon, we went to see “The Green Hornet,” starring Seth Rogan, and a few other people of course. It was a good movie, but I wouldn’t rush out to see  [ Read More ]

Today Melody and I went to see the new movie 127 Hours, starring James Franco. Knowing that it was based on a true story made it even more interesting to me, after i saw the trailer a few months ago. It was a pretty intense movie. It was extremely well done, only 90 minutes long,  [ Read More ]

On Friday’s, my friends and I usually head out from the office and go to lunch away from campus. Today, we hit up one of our favorite joints, Chubby’s Tacos, over off Lake Pine in Raleigh. They have the biggest damn burritos i’ve seen, and they are freakin’ delicious. I get the “basic” burrito, which  [ Read More ]

Melody and I weren’t feeling terribly well today….she was suffering from some SpawnWatch related issues (we think), and I was just a big wuss with a headache. That pretty much canceled our plans to head out of the house today, so we both stayed on the couch, watched TV and a movie, then ordered some  [ Read More ]

Tonight Melody and I went to see “How Do You Know?” at the cinema (it has Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, and Owen Wilson in it). It was decent. I mean…we only paid matinee prices for the tickets, so that made it a little more bearable. It was just a really slow movie, where nothing really  [ Read More ]

I loved…LOVED…this movie when i was little. And now they are making a sequel. And it looks awesome. It better be. Or i’ll blog about how they ruined a childhood memory.

Went to see Paranormal Activity 2 last night at midnight (the first showing)…..and it was awesome. It was much more intense than the first film, with a lot more “stuff” happening throughout. There were definitely enough jump out of your seat moments, and things that the trailers didn’t ruin, so i liked that. There was  [ Read More ]
